• Conveniently located, it’s just a 5-minute walk from my home to the bus stop, which is at the roundabout near the lagoon, right in front of Victoria Palace Hotel. From there, it's just a 5-minute ride on the bus to the Vaporetto (water bus) station.

• Once on the Vaporetto, it's a quick 10-minute boat ride from Lido to San Marco! Adding a few minutes for waiting and boarding, the total journey takes about 30 minutes.

From San Marco, you’ll be in the heart of Venice, with easy access to its most iconic attractions. Using a simple map, you can explore these remarkable sites:

• Palazzo Ducale (Doge's Palace), home to the famous Ponte dei Sospiri (Bridge of Sighs)
